Our artists deliver a free digital mock-up within 48–72 hours. You approve the design — no payment until you love it — then we paint and ship free within the USA.

You need: (1) shoe type — Air Force 1 or Jordan 1, (2) your shoe size, (3) a description of your design idea or reference images, (4) your occasion or deadline if applicable, and (5) any specific colors, text, names, dates, or logos to include. The more detail you provide, the more accurate your free mock-up will be on the first delivery.

No. You submit a design request form without creating an account. All communication about your design, mock-up revisions, and order confirmation is handled via email. If you want to reorder the same design later, your reference number from the original order is all we need.

Yes. At checkout, you can specify a gift shipping address separate from your billing address. You can also request gift packaging. If you want the recipient's name or a short message included on a card in the box, mention it in your design request and we'll include it at no extra charge.

Both are excellent custom canvases. Air Force 1s have a clean, flat leather panel on the side that's ideal for detailed artwork, logos, and text. Jordan 1 Highs offer more surface area on the ankle panel and are preferred for sports, corporate events, and groom wedding shoes. AF1s sit lower and are more versatile for day-to-day wear. Final pricing varies with design complexity, number of colors, and physical embellishments such as pearls or rhinestones.

Yes — highly detailed designs with photorealistic portraits, fine text, multiple colors, or extensive coverage require more artist time and carry a higher price point. The $299 starting price applies to single-color or two-color designs with straightforward layouts. When you submit your design request, we'll quote the exact price in your free mock-up delivery based on the design complexity.

You can request unlimited revisions, change the design entirely, or decide not to proceed — zero charge for any of this. Payment is only collected after you formally approve the mock-up and confirm you want to proceed to painting.

After you submit your design request, our artists build a digital visual of your custom shoe from scratch — showing your exact colors, design layout, text, logos, and any embellishments. There is no limit on revision rounds during the mock-up phase. Every round is free. Tell us exactly what to change — colors, layout, text size, artwork style, element placement — and we update the preview. We do not begin painting until you give explicit approval on the mock-up. If after multiple rounds you decide not to proceed, you owe us nothing.

Yes. You can upload artwork, logos, inspiration photos, and reference images directly in the design request form. We accept PNG, JPG, PDF, and vector files (AI, SVG, EPS). High-resolution files produce the most accurate results. For corporate logo work, Pantone color codes or brand guides are also welcome — we match them precisely.

A text description is enough to start. Describe your idea in as much detail as you can — colors, placement, style (realistic, cartoon, abstract, graffiti), any text or names, and what the overall feel should be. Our artists are trained to translate written descriptions into visual mock-ups. The first preview is a starting point — revisions dial it in from there.

Vinyl custom shoes use adhesive decals cut by machine and applied to the surface — they have sharp flat edges, no texture, and peel at stress points over time. Printed shoes use heat-transfer or sublimation — fine for flat canvas, poor on flexible leather. Hand-painted sneakers have layered depth, natural color variation, tactile texture, and are permanently integrated into the leather. StyleReels is 100% hand-painted — never vinyl, never printed. Air Force 1s run slightly large compared to most Nike running shoes. Most wearers order their standard size or go half a size down. If you are between sizes, going down half a size is the safer choice for a snug fit. Wide-foot wearers typically stay true to size or go up half a size. Jordan 1 Highs and Lows typically run true to size for most wearers. Jordan 1 Mids can run slightly narrow, so wide-foot wearers may want to go half a size up. Yes. We create custom Air Force 1s and Jordan 1s in kids and youth sizes. Custom kids sneakers are popular as graduation gifts, birthday gifts, senior night gifts for young athletes, and school spirit shoes. Include the child's size in the design request form — we will confirm availability for that specific size.

Yes. If you have a specific Nike Air Force 1 or Jordan 1 colorway you want painted on, you can ship your unworn pair to our studio. Contact us first to confirm eligibility — we require them to be unworn and undamaged on the correct model. Mention the send-in option in your design request and we'll provide shipping instructions and a handling fee quote.

Air Force 1s are generally accommodating for wider feet — most wide-foot wearers go true to size. Jordan 1 Mids tend to run narrow and wide-foot wearers often go up half a size. For very wide feet or foot conditions requiring specific sizing, mention this in your design request and we'll discuss options before you commit to an order.

No — not with proper professional-grade materials applied correctly. StyleReels uses leather-specific acrylic paints engineered to flex with the shoe without cracking at stress points. Multiple coats of professional leather finisher are applied after painting to seal and protect. The most common cause of cracking on custom shoes elsewhere is craft paint or household acrylics — we never use those. See our About Our Artists page for full material details.

Light moisture and occasional splashes are fine — the professional leather sealant creates a water-resistant barrier. Avoid prolonged wet conditions and do not submerge or machine wash your custom pair. If the shoes get wet, pat dry with a soft cloth and allow to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Applying a leather protectant spray every few months adds additional moisture resistance.

Wipe painted areas with a slightly damp soft cloth or a foam sneaker cleaner applied gently with your fingers. Avoid stiff brushes, harsh chemical cleaners, bleach, or acetone — these damage the sealant and paint layer. Do not machine wash or put in the dryer. For the sole and midsole, a soft brush with mild soap is safe. We include a care card with every order.

Professional-grade leather paints are UV-resistant and hold their color through years of regular wear. Fading is most commonly caused by prolonged direct sunlight during storage — store shoes away from windows and direct UV exposure when not wearing them. Applying a leather protectant spray with UV protection every few months is the most effective long-term color maintenance habit.

Standard lead time is 2–4 weeks from design approval to delivery. This breaks down as: free mock-up phase (48–72 hours), revision rounds if needed (1–5 days), production and painting (10–18 days), quality inspection (1–2 days), and free USA shipping (3–7 business days). Rush timelines may be available — contact us immediately with your deadline.

Free shipping applies to US domestic orders. International shipping is available — contact us for current rates and estimated delivery times to your country. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes determined by the destination country. StyleReels is not responsible for customs fees on international shipments.

Rush production may be available depending on current studio capacity and design complexity. Contact us immediately with your hard deadline and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it. Rush orders carry an expedited production fee and require faster shipping at an additional cost. For weddings, senior nights, and major events, we strongly recommend ordering at least 6 weeks in advance to avoid any rush situations.

Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with photographs of the damage. Shipping damage is fully covered — we work with the carrier on a claim and either repair or replace your pair. Damage caused by the customer after delivery is not covered. We photograph every pair before shipping as a pre-shipment condition record, which we provide during any claim process.

Yes. When your finished pair ships, you receive an email with a full tracking number. You can monitor the shipment in real time from our studio to your door. We also send a notification when the pair passes quality inspection and is ready to ship, so you know it's on its way before the tracking email arrives.

Order at least 6–8 weeks before your wedding date. This allows time for the free mock-up (48–72 hours), revision rounds, production (2–4 weeks), quality inspection, and free USA shipping (3–7 business days). Yes. Pearl embellishments, rhinestones, Swarovski crystals, and satin ribbon laces are all available on wedding custom sneakers. Yes — matching couple pairs are one of our most popular wedding orders. We create coordinated designs that read as a set while being distinct for each person — the bride's pair typically features more delicate detailing while the groom's mirrors the color palette in a bolder way. Yes. Bridal party bulk orders are available for bridesmaids and groomsmen. All pairs are designed to coordinate — same colors, consistent design theme, with each pair personalized individually with names or roles if desired. Bulk pricing applies at 6+ pairs. There is no posted minimum order at StyleReels. We take single pairs and bulk orders of any size. Volume pricing begins at 10 pairs and decreases further at 25 and 50+ pairs. The largest single orders we've completed are 50+ pair chapter and corporate event orders. Contact us with your quantity and timeline for a dedicated bulk quote.

Yes. Pantone color matching is included on all corporate orders. Provide your PMS codes in the design request form and our artists match them precisely. If you only have hex codes or a brand guide, we work from those as well. Yes. For large bulk orders — typically 20 pairs or more — we can produce a single sample pair for your review before full production begins. The sample is produced at the standard per-pair price and counts toward your bulk order total. Mention the sample request in your design request form and we will discuss the timeline and cost before confirming.

Yes. NDA agreements are available for corporate orders requiring confidentiality — product launches, campaign reveals, or competitive brand work. Mention your NDA requirement in the design request form and we send our standard agreement before any design discussion begins. All studio team members are bound by the NDA on confidential client projects.

Custom branded AF1s are worn publicly — every wear is a brand impression in the real world. They are photographed, shared on social media organically, kept, and remembered. The perceived value is significantly higher than standard branded merchandise, which signals that your brand takes quality seriously. Custom painted sneakers are made to order and are not returnable unless the finished pair differs materially from your approved mock-up or arrives damaged in transit. This is exactly why the mock-up approval process exists — you see what you're getting before any painting begins. Contact us within 5 days of receiving your order with photos showing the specific concern. If the finished pair does not match the approved mock-up, we will correct it. We stand behind our work and our quality check process exists to prevent this situation. We photograph every pair before shipping and compare to the approved design as the final gate before it leaves the studio.

Yes. We archive approved designs for repeat orders. If you want the same design in a different size, as a gift, or as an additional pair — contact us and reference your original order number. We reproduce from the archived mock-up without restarting the design process from scratch, which means faster turnaround and no additional design fees.

Our primary focus is Air Force 1s and Jordan 1s — these two silhouettes provide the largest, cleanest leather canvas for hand-painting and are where our artists have the deepest expertise.
